The Oxford Literary Festival sponsored by HSBC Premier starts tomorrow, welcoming thousands of writers, thinkers and visitors to the city for an inspiring week of debates, lectures, seminars and dinners.

The international outlook of the Festival and its engaging programming complement HSBC Premier's commitment to opening up opportunities and stimulating debate, and as Global Banking Partner we hope to challenge and inspire people to break down barriers and explore the world from different perspectives.

Based at the beautiful Oxford University college of Christ Church, the Oxford Literary Festival's 2011 programme is the most significant since it launched in 1996, featuring over 550 speakers from around the world at more than 300 events from Saturday 2 to Sunday 10 April.

The sponsorship, a highlight of our global Cultural Exchange programme, will provide our clients with exclusive access to tickets, a series of lunch events and a VIP lounge. It will also include the closing dinner, featuring Madhur Jaffrey's contemporary take on Anglo-Indian cuisine in the stunning Great Hall at Christ Church.
