Dreams and Reality at the National Museum of Singapore
Starts: 26 October 2011 - ends: 5 February 2012We are sponsoring Dreams and Reality: Masterpieces of Painting, Drawing and Photography at the National Museum of Singapore, which opens today.
The exhibition runs until 5 February 2012 and features a collection of works from Musée d'Orsay in Paris, including more than 140 Realist, Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, photographs and drawings from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
Paul Cézanne's The Card Players, Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night and Alexandre Cabanel's The Birth of Venus are particular highlights, along with a portrait of Georges Clemenceau by Édouard Manet that has travelled exclusively to Singapore.
