Design Miami/ invited designers and institutions to demonstrate creative processes and to present the public with surprising encounters with design practice.

Projects included Stuart Haygarth's Drop Chandelier made of drinking water bottles, As Long As It Lasts designer tattoos from Tobias Wong, Josée Lepage and Aric Chen, and Better Than You Remember, a performance by Jason Miller who re-creates design objects from viewers' childhood with the aid of a hypnotist.
