People Exchange - Russian aerialist in Australia
To continue the circus theme of our sponsorship in Australia, HSBC is planning to partner a project with the National Institute of Circus Arts, Australia (NICA). The People Exchange project will see a Russian aerialist spend three to six months in Australia engaging with young local circus artists and the circus industry.
Russia has a rich tradition of circus performance and produces styles of performing that are rarely found in the Australian circus arts community.
The project is part of the wider People Exchange programme that is being developed by HSBC as part of Cultural Exchange to be run in conjunction with other partnerships around the world.
