CHINA NOW was the most important festival devoted to China that the UK has ever seen. It opened the UK's eyes, minds and imagination to modern day China.
Over 800 events nationwide spanning art, design, cuisine, culture, science, business, technology, education and sport captured the imagination and advance the UK public's understanding of China. In particular, HSBC worked with CHINA NOW to create an extensive Education Programme for Primary and Secondary school students.
The festival connected the UK and China at a variety of levels, helping to develop new friendships and forge strong relationships between the two countries.
