Antony Gormley's installation Lot at Guernsey's historic Castle Cornet
HSBC Private Bank is dedicated to playing an active role in helping develop the economic, cultural and educational aspects of the local communities in which we operate across the world and we have supported the Channel Island's International Artist in Residence Programme (IAIRP) since 2008.
Highlights include world renowned artist Antony Gormley's residency and installation of work Lot in 2008, an HSBC Private Bank commission at Guernsey's historic Castle Cornet.
The project culminated in a photography book by Phil Sayer, entitled Gormley on Guernsey, which captured the excitement and anticipation of the installation day. The book was launched at HSBC Private Bank's London offices in November 2009.
